A day trip to Virginia City provided a leisurely break from hiking and fishing. We enjoyed the homemade ice cream, a tour of the city, and a play/vaudeville show at a tiny theater.
The tour was insightful (thanks to historic facts provided by our tour guide who looked and sounded like Sam Elliott) and entertaining (thanks to a young woman who had been celebrating her friend's birthday and by 3:45 was two sheets to the wind)
