Giving Thanks

Our second Thanksgiving away from family was made a little easier with good company, beautiful winter weather, and plenty of wildlife sightings.

On our way to Driggs, Idaho we passed this fellow

After a rejuvenating morning yoga class centered on gratitude, we drove to Jackson, WY to spend Thanksgiving with new friends and their dogs (9 dogs to be exact).
A delicious dinner was followed by sitting fireside in a beautiful home at the base of the Tetons.

The next morning, we woke up to this fellow lumbering around the backyard

We watched him quickly scale a tree after hearing Kingsley's bark

He perched himself on this branch and took a long nap

Saturday, we stopped in Swan Valley to fish the south fork of the Snake before heading home

We left feeling especially thankful for our relaxing weekend, especially eager for upcoming weeks of positive change, especially humbled by the consistent support from friends, and especially grateful for the unwavering love of our families. Basking in His blessings, we are thankful.

and the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look behind from where we came
and go round and round and round in the circle game"
