Seizing a warm spring Saturday, Bucky and I packed up our camping gear and headed an hour east to Blackfoot Reservoir, with high hopes of catching carp on fly rods. After exploring a few dirt roads, we stumbled across a secluded camping area and a shallow flooded flat that was infested with Mirror Carp. With perfect weather for camping, perfect conditions for fishing, and perfect company, it became one of my favorite days out here.

Ew. Carp are disgusting.
